Her Husband Impregnated an Employee, and She’s Angry That He Might Marry Her

After four years of marriage, this woman sees no other option but divorce. Although the relationship has ended, she’s still grieving over the loss, especially given the distressing circumstances that led to its downfall.

She can clearly explain why she chose to marry him, despite his terrible character.

Initially, she believed her husband was resilient. He had risen above poverty, endured abuse, and navigated the challenges of growing up in foster care. Her husband has worked tirelessly to achieve success, and his intelligence has been key to his accomplishments.

While she can explain why she decided to marry him, she has a hard time justifying why she has stayed with him over the past few years.

“My husband has consistently displayed narcissistic behavior, often devaluing those around him,” she shared.

Although he treated me better and never made me feel inadequate, he always maintained a certain distance. He is 38, manages a few successful businesses, and actively participates in charity work.

“His actions stem from a desire to feed his ego rather than a true concern for those in need. He hired a 25-year-old woman, who is undeniably attractive, which sparked feelings of jealousy in me. He claimed he needed someone exceptionally beautiful to draw in donors and secure their contributions.”

Her envy faded, giving way to a deep sense of pity. She realized that her husband constantly made this girl feel like nothing she did could ever meet his impossible standards.

She believed that this woman skillfully performed her role. However, there was an instance when the woman arrived late, leading her husband to reduce her pay by 20% as a consequence.

Her husband frequently criticized her, claiming that her lack of skills and intelligence would lead to a life of poverty.

Her husband consistently interacts with everyone this way. This behavior reassures her that his comments about his employee were not a tactic to divert attention from his affair. He has a history of losing employees due to his demeaning treatment, and it’s uncommon for anyone to remain in their position beyond six months.

“Initially, his charm and confidence make him highly likable, and it’s easy to see why people, especially women, find him impressive at first,” she explained.

He got another woman pregnant, and as a result, I’m planning to get a divorce. I’m not staying here because I’m unsure of my next steps; I will be leaving. However, I need to speak with someone about this situation.

This woman shared her desire to leave her current job with her friend, who offered advice based on her own experiences: always secure a new opportunity before resigning from your current position.

She sympathized deeply with the young woman involved. However, when she discovered the affair, she confronted her husband, who refused to take a paternity test, deeming it beneath him.

She informed her husband of her decision to pursue a divorce, and his response was simply that she was free to go.

Despite her family’s advice against it, she decided to reach out to the girl to hear her perspective.

“She confided that she believes she has developed feelings for him, but assured me she will respect our marriage and keep her distance. She pleaded for my forgiveness and promised to honor her commitment.”

“I tried to respond, but she blocked me. When I addressed the issue with him, he remained as composed as ever, seemingly unaffected by anything. I find myself consumed by anger—towards him, towards myself, and towards my life. We never had children together because he expressed his dislike for them, despite my desire to be a parent. Now, he’s having children with someone else, and at nearly 40, I feel overwhelmed with frustration.”

She finds it hard to accept that her husband treated her poorly and is anxious about the possibility of him marrying the woman he cheated with. Despite recognizing the need to move on, she can’t help but worry about this possibility.
